The latest consumer spending statistics from Barclaycard reveal that in the UK in February, there was a year-on-year increase of 3.8 percent. Delving deeper into the figures, which are based on Barclaycard credit and debit card transactions, we can see where this spending is growing at the fastest rate.

A look over our infographic, it would seem people in the UK are starting to enjoy themselves a bit more, with 'amusement parks', 'public houses' and 'cinema, theatre and dance' all in the top ten, with the former at the top of the spending growth ranking due to a jump upwards of 11.5 percent.
